We’re pleased to share that The Asia Foundation-India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BITS Pilani, K.K Birla Goa Campus, to support long-term collaboration on knowledge creation, capacity building, and policy engagement on i on areas of shared interest. Nandita Baruah, Country Representative, TAF-India and Suman Kundu, Director BITS-Pilani, K.k Birla, Goa Campus, signed the MoU in the presence of senior faculty members on BITS Goa, TAF and APCA team members.

The MoU establishes a framework for joint work across research, trainings, and applied initiatives, with a special focus on informed digital awareness, access and usage by public, business, and youth. The partnerships will also look to identify collaboration to promote gender inclusive STEM education.

As a part of this MoU TAF will engage with BITS Goa to initiate the CyberClinics program supported by Google.Org. The program will curate a hands-on course for students on Cybersecurity. Through this programme, 100 students will be trained in advanced cybersecurity skills, who will then go on to support and train 300 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to improve their cyber resilience. The initiative focuses on translating technical knowledge into practical support for small and medium businesses navigating digital risks.
